We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organised, and running smoothly behind the scenes. You will work a variety of morning and evening shifts, supporting the kitchen team to deliver high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all timesRegularly sweep, mop, and clean all kitchen and back-of-house areas during and after serviceWash pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and utensils efficiently throughout your shiftUse good time management to stay on top of cleaning tasks and respond quickly to new onesUnpack and store deliveries promptly, following First In, First Out (FIFO) proceduresMonitor stock rotation and report any shortages or issues to senior kitchen staffDispose of kitchen waste properly and safelyClean kitchen appliances, surfaces, fridges, freezers, and storage areas as scheduledWork well independently and as part of a team, including supporting another kitchen porter on shiftProactively look around and ask: "What needs to be done?
