About Your New Job as Project Architect

Lead the delivery of education and healthcare architecture projects from early concept through to completion.
Oversee the technical development of projects, ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations and sector-specific standards.
Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are functional, safe, efficient, and delivered to a high standard.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to design and regulatory standards.
Manage project programmes, budgets, consultant coordination, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining design quality and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

What Skills You Need as Project Architect

Minimum of 10 years’ experience working as an Architect, with a strong portfolio of education and/or healthcare projects.
Excellent technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of Irish Building Regulations and relevant standards for education and healthcare environments.
Proven experience managing projects through the construction stage, conducting site inspections, coordinating consultants, and resolving technical and compliance-related issues.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage clients, collaborate effectively with professionals, and work confidently within multidisciplinary design teams.
Familiarity with local authority processes, approval pathways, and regulatory compliance requirements within the Irish education and healthcare sectors.
