In this role, you will identify and secure new business opportunities, with an emphasis on new repeat group bookings, cultivate enduring relationships with key accounts, and contribute to marketing strategies that establish UCD Global Ltd. as a partner in the hospitality sector.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across UCD's summer accommodation, conferences and events facilities, and other relevant campus venues, while consistently striving to achieve revenue targets.• Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads from initial contact through to conversion, with accurate forecasting and regular reporting.• Engage with prospective clients through targeted outreach, meetings, site visits, and presentations, demonstrating UCD's value proposition and competitive advantages.• Represent UCD Global Ltd. at industry trade shows, networking events, and familiarisation trips, building awareness and generating qualified leads.• Maintain comprehensive records in CRM systems and customer databases, ensuring accurate information for follow-up and relationship management. Client Relationship Management• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key accounts, understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive repeat business.• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.• Work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, maintaining clear communication about client requirements and venue capabilities.• Monitor client feedback and market trends to inform service improvements and ensure UCD Global Ltd. remains competitive and relevant.Marketing & Communications• Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies that promote UCD Global Ltd.'s summer accommodation, hospitality facilities and services to target markets.• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, presentations, and website updates, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.• Execute targeted communications campaigns, including email marketing and social media activities, to engage potential clients and drive inquiries.• Collaborate with the UCD Accommodation team to ensure accurate room allocations and rate management in property management systems during peak booking periods.Stakeholder Collaboration• Work closely with internal UCD stakeholders, including academic and professional services teams, to ensure commercial activities align with the University's strategic objectives and values.• Build collaborative partnerships across the campus community, maintaining UCD Global Ltd.'s reputation as a trusted, enabling partner.• Engage with external partners and industry networks with professionalism and integrity, upholding UCD's reputation for service excellence.Required Experience & Skills• Professional Experience: 2+ years in a sales, events, reservations, or business development role within the accommodation sector, conference and events industry, sports tourism and/or the higher education environment with demonstrable experience meeting revenue targets.• Sales Capability: Proven ability to proactively generate and convert leads, manage a sales pipeline, and build lasting client relationships through professional, solutions-focused engagement.• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and present professional proposals, presentations, and marketing content.• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems, property management systems, and standard business software (Microsoft Office suite) to track activity and manage customer information.• Organisation & Detail: Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.• Collaboration & Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, maintaining professional standards and a customer-centric approach.• Full Driving Licence: Required for regular travel to client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.Desirable Qualifications• A degree or professional qualification in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.• Understanding of the accommodation sector, conference and events industry, sports tourism and/or the higher education environment.• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (email marketing, social media management, website content management systems).What We Offer• The opportunity to work with Ireland's premier educational hospitality brand in a professional, collaborative environment.• Autonomy to manage your sales activities and develop your professional skills in a supportive team setting.• A role that makes a meaningful contribution to UCD's mission, with all revenue reinvested to support students and academic excellence.• Access to exceptional facilities on the UCD campus and opportunities to engage with diverse national and international clients.How to ApplyTo apply for this position, please submit:• Your current CV• A cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role• Contact details for two professional referencesApplication Deadline: 20th February 2026 at 5pm
