The role involves delivering high-quality patient care through dermatological consultations, diagnosis, and treatments. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, contributing to continuous professional development initiatives, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient outcomes.We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled General Practitioner with an Extended Role in Dermatology (GPwER) to join a dynamic and growing service delivering high-quality in-house and virtual dermatology consultations to patients in Ireland.This is a unique opportunity allowing you to work flexibly between the UK and Ireland while providing expert dermatological care.Key Responsibilities:Deliver dermatology consultations, both virtually and in-house to patients based in IrelandDiagnose and manage a wide range of dermatological conditionsPerform and advise on mole screening and skin cancer assessmentsProvide clinical expertise in skin cancer excisions and follow-up careManage general dermatology cases including chronic and acute conditionsMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams where requiredFully qualified General Practitioner with current registrationMandatory registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)Extensive experience in dermatology within a primary care or specialist settingMole screening and dermoscopySkin cancer diagnosis and managementSkin cancer excisionsExperience delivering virtual/telemedicine consultations (desirable but not essential)Excellent clinical judgement and communication skillsWhat We Offer:Opportunity to work across UK and Irish healthcare systemsSupportive and forward-thinking clinical environment
