Responsibilities:
Support planning and execution of Signaling, Electrification, and Telecom (SET) projects using effective Project Management methodologies.
Manage NEC and GCCC contracts to meet program targets and execute work efficiently.
Lead design management to ensure an integrated final design for current and future rail network expansion, complying with I-SET-9100 standards for engineering management.
Develop and maintain detailed Project Plans, outlining development phases, roles, responsibilities, milestones, and risks.
Monitor schedules to predict project timelines.
Allocate resources, including engineers and technicians, for SET systems and daily operations.
Establish work breakdown structures with schedules, resource allocations, and cost estimates.
Manage project budgets, ensuring value for money.
Develop cost plans, identify risks, and implement risk management systems with ongoing risk registers.
Develop sustainability plans addressing social, economic, and environmental objectives.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Prepare reports and implement document control procedures.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in railway infrastructure or rail systems projects.
IRSE licensed and/or chartered status (e.g., Signaling Design Assistant) is preferred.
Experience as a project coordinator or assistant project manager in railway projects is advantageous.
Basic understanding of signaling, electrification, and telecom systems in railway projects.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and railway technologies.
