We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as Deputy Respite/Residential Service Manager.
Job Description
* To assist the manager with the overall management of the location, delivering quality person-centred care in compliance with HIQA standards.
* To provide on-call support as required and assist in the development of individual personal plans for each service user.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be responsible for assisting with budget allocation and ensuring that all services meet HIQA standards. You will also be expected to promote quality assurance within your location and develop effective relationships with families and agencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 1 year's experience working with people who have intellectual disabilities; QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies or equivalent is essential; Coru registration or current application process ongoing)
2. Excellent communication, organisational skills, IT skills & ability to work under pressure;
3. Leadership experience an advantage - ability to make sound judgments based on legislation & best practice;
4. Knowledge of relevant legislation including HPCA Code, Guidelines;

—Fully licenced driver (car category B) acceptable if willing carry own vehicle.
