Support Worker in Residential Care
Social care workers play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and adolescents in residential settings. This role involves delivering direct care, promoting wellbeing and independence, and ensuring a safe and respectful living environment.
The Role:
* Delivering direct care and emotional support in a residential setting through individualised care plans
* Promoting wellbeing and independence by engaging residents in therapeutic activities
* Assisting with risk assessment, care planning, and reporting to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
* Supporting residents with daily activities, education, and life skills development
* Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful living environment that promotes positive relationships between residents and staff
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 7 qualification in a relevant area such as Social Care, Psychology, or Youth Work
* At least one year's experience working with children or young people in a professional care setting
* Full driving licence preferred but not essential
