Summary: A leading Biopharma company in West Cork is seeking a Projects Safety Advisor ensuring compliance with EHS requirements, supporting project teams on site, and ensuring that documentation, procedures, and quality standards are fully implemented.
Responsibilities: Ensure PSDP/PSCS compliance Work with the projects team to identify any hazards that their design may present during construction and subsequent maintenance, completing design risk assessments.
Communicate necessary control measures, design assumptions or remaining risks to the PSDP so they can be dealt with in the safety and health plan.
Carry out continuous assessment and audits to ensure compliance within the Site Projects Group Work with the Project Managers on Construction H&S Plans Advise on all aspects of the Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations Manage the design safety risk assessments program Audit and metricate projects safety files Training of project engineers and project managers Support safety incident investigations.
Qualifications & Experience: Third-level qualification in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years experience in an EHS role, ideally within the biopharma, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sector.
Proactive approach to risk management, with a focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
