As part of their growth, they are seeking an experienced Head of AML / KYC to lead and scale a new Centre of Excellence based in Shannon.
About the Role: This is a strategic leadership position with responsibility for building and managing a high-performing AML / KYC team, expected to grow to 25 people by year-end.
The team will support client due diligence operations across multiple international branches.
Working closely with the MD, you will ensure AML/KYC operations meet the highest standards and align with global regulatory expectations for institutional fund clients.
Key Responsibilities: Build and lead the AML / KYC function, including hiring, training, and operational oversightManage end-to-end due diligence processes for institutional clients across global jurisdictionsDevelop and implement robust AML/KYC policies and procedures aligned to local and international requirementsProvide expert guidance on complex cases and act as a key escalation pointDrive continuous process improvement, automation, and best-in-class compliance standardsCollaborate with senior leadership across global offices to ensure alignment and efficiency What Were Looking For: Minimum of 10 years experience in AML/KYC due diligence for institutional and international clientsProven experience in managing and scaling large teams in a regulated environmentStrong knowledge of global AML regulations (US, EU, Cayman Islands)Experience working with fund structures and cross-border onboarding processesExcellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills Whats on Offer: Strategic leadership role in a growing, international financial institutionOpportunity to build a core function from the ground up in a brand-new Centre of ExcellenceMarket-competitive salary and benefits packageHybrid working model, based in Shannon Skills: Head of AML
