Our client is a growing communications technology provider delivering voice and connectivity solutions to business across Ireland. They are now hiring a Senior VoIP / Telecom Engineer to support and evolve the company’s telephony and real-time communication environment.The role will focus on maintaining high-quality voice services, improving platform performance, and resolving complex signalling and routing issues within a production VoIP environment. What You’ll GetOpportunity to work on large-scale VoIP and real-time communications systemsWork in a collaborative engineering environmentStrong technical ownership within a growing platform businessMaintain and improve VoIP and telephony infrastructureManage SIP and RTP traffic across production environmentsSupport platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or similarTroubleshoot call quality, routing, and signalling issuesAct as a senior escalation point for complex telephony incidentsWork with infrastructure teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability Skills & Experience Required5–8+ years experience working with VoIP systems in production environmentsStrong knowledge of SIP, RTP, and WebRTC protocolsExperience supporting platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or KamailioStrong troubleshooting experience across voice networking and signallingGood networking knowledge including routing, NAT, and firewallsPlease Note: Applicants can only be considered for this position if living in and are eligible to work in Ireland (EU Citizen, Stamp 4 etc.).
