The Role
As a Research Associate, you will sit at the heart of our search process. Think of yourself as part investigator, part strategist, part analyst. You will be uncovering hidden leadership talent, dissecting market trends, and shaping the intelligence that allows our consultants to deliver world-class outcomes for our clients.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on research, enjoys connecting the dots, and wants to see their work influence boardroom-level decisions.
What You Will Do
* Map markets and identify exceptional senior leaders across finance and professional services
* Speak directly with candidates to understand their experience, ambitions, and fit
* Create sharp, insight-driven market reports that inform client strategies
* Maintain and curate our global talent database with accuracy and precision
* Track industry moves, competitor activity, and emerging trends, always staying one step ahead
* Support consultants with data-driven insights, research briefs, and pitch materials
* Manage multiple live projects with agility, prioritising deadlines without losing quality
What You Will Bring
* Natural curiosity and sharp research skills; you love getting into the detail and spotting patterns
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence to engage candidates directly
* Organisational rigour and attention to detail that others can rely on
* Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) with a strong academic record
* Tech savvy, comfortable with G-Suite, and ideally some experience with CRMs
* Professionalism, discretion, and resilience under pressure
* Previous research, professional services, or executive search exposure is a bonus, but not essential
