You will enjoy the fast pace of working in an exciting City Centre Restaurant. You also need to be able to stay calm and work as part of a team during a frenetic service and ensure a fantastic customer experience by following clear instruction and assisting your team-mates where needed.
As chef de partie your main function will be to provide excellent food, professionally and efficiently plated and following all HACCP and internal guidelines to our standard.
Minimum Requirements:
* Have 1-3 years previous experience working in a professional kitchen
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be focused on providing a consistently high standard of food
* Be a team player, flexible, reliable and trustworthy
* Be available to work early morning shifts throughout Sunday-Saturday
Summary of Main Areas of Responsibility
* Ensuring margins and costs are maintained.
* Compliance with Health & Safety regulations
* Assist with overall running of the kitchen.
* Monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.
* HACCP management

* Efficient Food Production and Delivery in a timely and effective manner
* To ensure that all areas under your control satisfy the most stringent hygiene requirements and HACCP is fully complied with.
* Working as part of a team with floor management
* To conduct regular stock checks/stock takes.
* To ensure that all menus are regularly updated, paying special attention to seasonal availability.
* Driving Licence required
