Job Title: Technical Director
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to join our brand-new studio in Dublin, Ireland. As a founding member of Electric Square Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our team and influencing the creation of world-class games.

Your Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for giving direction and maintaining quality of all technical aspects of the game studio. This includes managing and providing mentorship to engineering and IT staff, collaborating with recruitment, conducting interviews, and building a world-class engineering team.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain high-quality technical standards across the studio
* Lead and mentor engineering and IT staff
* Collaborate with recruitment to build a world-class team
* Work closely with studio directors, game team leads, and other Electric Square studios
* Perform technical due diligence for clients, project development, and pitches
* Represent the studio during client hospitality visits
Requirements:
* 5+ shipped titles, including at least 2 as lead
* 10+ years experience in the games industry
* AAA experience required
* Familiarity with a broad range of technologies
* Experience on console/PC platforms required; mobile experience desirable
* Co-dev environment experience desirable
* Unreal experience required; Unity and proprietary engine experience desirable
