Job Description
Participant will be trained in how to:Welcome clients warmly, check them in, and create a friendly, comfortable salon atmosphere.Manage bookings through the salon app, over the phone, and via social media platforms.Assist clients by guiding them to their stations, providing capes, and ensuring they have everything they need.Assist the team with general salon maintenance, including folding clean towels and keeping all areas tidy and organized.
Role Description
This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.Formal Training:Product and service promotionsCash register operationCustomer service and communication skillsOnline advertising and social media engagementPreparing nail and beauty treatment stationsNail preparation and treatments (Shellac, manicure, pedicure)Makeup application and facialsInformal Training:Telephone and reception dutiesCustomer care and teamworkGaining knowledge on retail products and find selling points for sale and online sales Will learn how to assist the staff through helping clients with bookings etc.
