We are currently hiring an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team on a fixed term contract at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities: Manage AP email folder.
Manage the 'Checked Balances' stage of the POs on Procure Wizard, make sure delivery docs signed and check nominal coding before completing the invoices.
Open new supplier accounts on Sun and Procure Wizard.
Transferring completed invoices from Procure Wizard to SUN.
Manage non - Food Beverage suppliers on the ledger - creditor recs, queries etc.
Assist with the weekly payment run for urgent payments - gather all relevant documentation and present to the Director of Finance for approval.
Monthly payment run - ensure all back up docs are present sign offs obtained from HODs.
Process and upload to bank for payment approval.
Review creditor accounts and AP listing - make sure any creditor balance with creditor statement.
Provide information for KPI reporting.
Key Requirements : 2 years AP experience in a hotel environment.
Excellent time management skills ability to work under pressure.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Intermediate Excel Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills Experience with Procure Wizard and/or SUN is desirable but not essential.
