Job Summary
As a dedicated Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for safeguarding all stages of project work from design and delivery through to handover and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct pre-handover inspections on projects nearing completion to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Participate in design review workshops to integrate health and safety requirements into designs.
* Serve as Incident Liaison Officer for accidents/incidents, ensuring timely response and effective resolution.
* Represent health and safety standards at project kick-off meetings.
* Produce quarterly safety communications for contractors and stakeholders to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Hold a third-level qualification in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
* Possess solid experience in health and safety roles, preferably in infrastructure, utilities, construction, or a closely related sector.
* Be willing to travel across the region for site visits and hold a full driving license.
