* The candidate will be required to understand the complexity and dynamics associated with change in the health and social care sector.
* Sound knowledge of current issues and experience of working with people with Chronic Disease.
* In that regard they will have a track record of leading on service improvement and/or possess a qualification of relevance to same.
* They will be required to be self-managing and have the ability to identify and work with key partners in the implementation of the ICPCD.
* They will understand the challenges of leading a complex change programme with significant technology and process change, interdependencies and HR challenges.
