The Job:
Based with a public sector body in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, this is a temporary contract where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office - 1 Month FTC initially with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide administrative support
2. To work cohesively as part of a small team ensuring deadlines are met
3. Take calls from members of the public and deal with enquires
4. Provide responses to queries from the public
5. Monitor and maintain email enquires to the office ensuring they are directed to appropriate staff in a timely manner
6. Update and maintain databases using microsoft excel and access
7. Maintain confidentiality of documentation, records etc
8. Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of area of responsibility
9. Ensure that archives and records are accurate and readily available
Requirements:
10. A minimum of 1+ years experience within administration/accounts
11. Strong IT skills
12. Strong communication skills
13. Attention to detail
14. Good with figures
15. Ability to make informed and confident decisions
