Health & Safety Advisor – ATC Computer Transport & Logistics
This role reports to the Health & Safety Manager to support the planning and implementation of environmental health and safety programs. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive occupational safety program for the company, including safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and related tasks. The successful candidate will help ensure health and safety compliance across all departments in multiple regions.
Responsibilities
* Guide and promote employee health and safety performance by assisting in developing health and safety systems, programs, and procedures.
* Maintain a Safety Committee to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses, enhancing overall site safety culture and increasing management engagement and employee involvement.
* Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and develop long‑term corrective actions.
* Perform facility audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify environmental, safety, and occupational hazards and weaknesses.
* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and develop recommendations that provide solutions, remedies, or process improvements.
* Review and approve risk assessments for customer sites.
* Educate employees on preventing health problems through safety training programs with monthly safety talk topics.
* Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety policies.
* Participate in projects for new or improved health and safety procedures as a safety advisor.
* Travel is required 20%.
* Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
* Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification.
* Minimum 2‑3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to train.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.

* Demonstrated initiative and innovation.
* Computer and software skills (MS Office) are an asset.

* Manual handling / Train the trainer.
* Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment (advantage).
