Accounting Technician Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting records, as well as preparing monthly financial information, including management accounts, financial analysis, and credit card expenditures. They will also be required to prepare annual payroll budget figures and other payroll calculations, as well as quarterly reports with supporting information.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a qualification in Accounting Technician or equivalent, as well as working knowledge of MS Office Applications, including Word and Excel. A working knowledge of Sage or similar package would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for work, and be able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
