Job Opportunity:
Project Engineer in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering key water and wastewater infrastructure projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle including design, procurement, administration, and handover stages.
* Evaluation of Client Specifications and liaison with Client and Client Representatives
* Providing support to the Project Manager and liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations ensuring full specification compliance
* Preparing technical submissions and reports for Client approval, generating contract programmes of work, and monitoring and updating progress against the Contract Programme
* Scheduling resources and contractors to ensure delivery schedules are met, preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments for upcoming works, and implementing Project Quality Control procedures
* Financial tracking of projects and reporting, site liaison with sub-contractors and Client Project & Resident Engineers, and site supervision of works
Additional responsibilities include scheduling crews and sub-contractors, procurement of all plant and material for sites, site surveys and generation of works packages, maintaining and updating Site Safety Files, attending site for safety audits and project supervision, and document control for all aspects of the Contract.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a strong background in project engineering. They will also possess knowledge and experience of the water and wastewater industry, a working knowledge of AutoCAD, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits:
€50K - €60K negotiable based on qualifications and relevant experience
