Key Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, implement, monitor, and review educational, recreational, and occupational programs in the community or in clients' homes.
* Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and key community-based personnel to pursue accessible community activities for clients.
* Ensure all interactions with clients are approached with dignity, respect, equality, and incorporate choice.
* Establish a productive partnership with each individual by devising a mutual agreement on how to work together to ensure expectations are set, responsibilities are met, and respect, honesty, and transparency are demonstrable.
Requirements
* 1-2 years' work experience supporting individuals with Autism.
* At least 1 year's work experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, physical and sensory disabilities, and/or mental health challenges.
* Previous experience working 1:1 in the Community or in persons' homes.
* Experience promoting self-advocacy.
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation (Health & Safety Acts, Adult Protection Act, GDPR).

Additional Requirements
* Full driving licence is essential.
* QQI Level 5 preference for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Autism-related training participation preferred.
* Flexibility and willingness to participate in RehabCare mandatory and further development training program.
