Site Engineer – Commercial & Residential Projects | Mayo
County Mayo
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing construction team in Mayo. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and residential developments across the region, from initial groundworks through to project completion. The successful candidate will work closely with Site Management and Project Teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Setting out works using Total Station, GPS, and surveying equipment.
Monitoring construction activities and ensuring work is completed in line with drawings and specifications.
Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and design teams.
Maintaining accurate site records and reporting on project progress.
Conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Assisting with site coordination and programme management.
Supporting health and safety compliance across all site activities.
Resolving technical issues and providing engineering support on site.
Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within specifications.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 2+ years' experience in a Site Engineer role.
Experience working on commercial and/or residential construction projects.
Strong setting out experience using Total Station and GPS equipment.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Knowledge of Irish Health & Safety regulations.
Full clean driving licence.
