This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact by ensuring safe and reliable transportation for vulnerable individuals. You will work closely with the Social Work Team to support their daily tasks and contribute to the wellbeing and protection of those in need.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and time-management skills, along with a full, clean Category B driving licence and at least 3 years' driving experience. Strong communication skills are also essential, as you will be working with supervisors, social workers and families on a regular basis.
You will be responsible for safely transporting service users and staff, conducting daily vehicle checks, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security. Additionally, you will plan and prioritise routes in coordination with the Social Work Team and ensure all equipment in the vehicle is accounted for and in good working order.
