Donegal is recruiting an experienced Head Chef / Chef de Cuisine to lead its kitchen operation as the business continues to develop.

The Role You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working closely with senior management and front-of-house to ensure smooth service and consistent standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up.
Key Responsibilities * Full ownership of kitchen operations and service delivery * Consistent production of high-quality food during busy periods * Menu development with a focus on practicality, cost control, and seasonality * Food ordering, stock management, cost control, and GP management * Recruitment, training, and rota management of kitchen staff * Maintaining a positive, professional kitchen culture * Full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health safety standards * Ensuring allergen controls and documentation are in place Candidate Profile * Experience as a Head Chef, Senior Chef, or Sous Chef ready to progress * Background in a bar, gastro-pub, or casual dining environment * Strong food cost, stock, and organisational skills * Calm, reliable, and consistent under pressure * Menu costing and team management experience Personal Attributes * Practical and solutions-focused * Organised and process-driven * Team-oriented with high standards What's Next?
