This role focuses heavily on early-stage commercial development, partnership building, and driving optimal infrastructure solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of a comprehensive grid and infrastructure strategy aligned with national policy and future energy needsBuild and manage relationships with key stakeholders including regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry partnersCollaborate with key infrastructure stakeholders to align on requirements, timelines, and investment strategiesDrive commercial negotiations and manage complex contracts to deliver optimal outcomesDevelop investment roadmaps in partnership with finance teams to support scalable and sustainable growthWork cross-functionally with engineering, grid, and planning teams to ensure deliverability of infrastructure plansRepresent the organisation in industry forums, consultations, and public engagementsLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering innovation and collaborationAbout YouDegree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field10+ years’ experience in energy or large-scale infrastructure projectsStrong expertise in electricity transmission grid planning and developmentDeep understanding of Irish regulatory and planning frameworksProven track record managing complex projects and stakeholder environmentsStrong commercial acumen with experience in contracts, procurement, and negotiationsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProject Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageousPlease contact maeve.curran@allsite.ie for a confidential discussion.
