About the Role
As a seasoned HR professional, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our organization's people strategy. Your role will encompass various responsibilities designed to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment & Onboarding: You will lead the recruitment process for indirect roles, providing valuable support for direct hiring, while also ensuring that all onboarding procedures are followed.
* Performance & Manager Support: Drive performance management, offering practical guidance to line managers and supervisors, helping them navigate employee performance issues with confidence.
* Employee Relations: Provide expert advice on grievance and disciplinary matters, supporting teams as they navigate challenges with fairness and clarity.
* Benefits & Vendor Coordination: Manage employee benefit programs in collaboration with external partners, ensuring seamless implementation and optimization of benefits.
* Engagement & Culture: Help bring company values to life through engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and cultural workshops, fostering an inclusive and supportive work culture.
* HR Metrics & Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable HR data covering engagement, absenteeism, turnover, and more, enabling informed decision-making.
* Strategic Advisory & Benchmarking: Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering insights on employee relations and organizational culture, driving strategic business decisions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in HR (35+ years) in a manufacturing or operational environment, with full HR lifecycle experience from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance management.
* Third-level degree in Human Resources, Business Studies, or a related discipline, with CIPD qualification highly desirable.
* Excellent knowledge of Irish employment legislation and proficiency in HRIS platforms, such as BambooHR or PeopleSoft.
* Strong command of Microsoft Office and ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Able to drive results-oriented initiatives, leverage technology to streamline processes, and foster a collaborative work environment.
