Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Graduate Environmental Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and training in a dynamic and supportive environment.
* Responsibilities include day-to-day monitoring of the wastewater treatment plant, involvement in projects to reduce the carbon footprint, collaboration with engineering and production departments, daily monitoring of environmental emissions, ensuring sampling programmes for discharges are carried out, interpreting energy and water-related data, upkeep of environmental documentation, organising infrastructural improvement works, liaising with regulatory bodies, coordinating with legislation, managing noise and pollution control, identifying water- and energy-reduction projects, and presenting sustainability performance to management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
* Key qualifications include a degree in environmental science or a related field, relevant work experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to interpret data and reports, and possession of a valid driver's license.
