Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role:
This position plays a vital part in the maintenance operations function, overseeing all planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities on site. The successful candidate will collaborate with technicians, engineers, vendors, and cross-functional partners to ensure efficient execution of maintenance work while adhering to GMP standards.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule all maintenance activities using the site CMMS system.
* Lead daily and weekly planning meetings to prioritize work orders and review maintenance plans for accuracy and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Operations Manager and other departments to prepare jobs for safe and efficient execution.
* Forecast maintenance workloads, identify resource needs, and coordinate vendor activities for specialist work.
* Maintain and manage the maintenance notification backlog within the CMMS system.
* Review work requests, define scope, inspect equipment, and estimate labor, materials, tools, and parts for planned work.
* Plan and support the execution of annual maintenance shutdowns.
* Support investigations into equipment failures and contribute to root cause analysis activities.
* Complete deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as required.
* Develop and maintain standard job plans, maintenance procedures, and scheduling processes.
* Build and report on maintenance KPIs to support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
* Work with Stores and Purchasing to ensure required parts, tools, and materials are available before scheduling work.
* Gather technical documentation such as drawings, OEM manuals, and spare parts lists to support work planning.
* Improve planning and scheduling effectiveness through data review, maintenance metrics, and RCA triggers.
* Administer the site CMMS system, including user training and system upkeep.
* Support site safety initiatives and ensure all planning activities align with safety and GMP requirements.
* Contribute to audit preparation and ongoing compliance of maintenance documentation and processes.
* Assist with the development and improvement of site maintenance and calibration programs.

Requirements:
* Strong experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is essential.
* Previous experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, or five years' maintenance experience, or an equivalent technical qualification with relevant industry exposure.
* Experience in GMP, biologics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is an advantage.
* Ability to plan mechanical and electrical maintenance activities and support troubleshooting efforts.
* Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
* Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
* Strong attention to safety, compliance, and documentation standards.
