Chef Grade II
Permanent -39 Hours per week
Applications are invited for a Permanent Contract -, Chef Grade II role, 39 Hours per week in
St. Vincent's Private Hospital.
Essential Criteria
Have obtained a suitable Catering Qualification (Higher Certificate in Professional Cookery-Level 6) or equivalent.
Have experience and interest in producing healthy and innovative dishes.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management, staff.
Working Knowledge of HACCP and Food Legislation. Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements and hospital standards
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols are strictly followed
Good organisational skills.
A positive and committed approach to your work.
Adaptability & Flexibility:- in both approach and outlook with ability to adapt to change.
Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Conscientious and reliable.
2-3 years experience in a busy kitchen environment
Further Details
Salary will be in line with the Department of Health and Children's salary scale.
Training and Uniform will be provided.. Kitchen operational times are from 6.00am-6.00pm
