Senior Grade Respiratory Physiologist 1 WTE Permanent Contract Would you like to work in an innovative Pulmonary Physiology Department in one of Irelands largest acute Private Hospitals (part of St Vincents Healthcare Group)? Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in Pulmonary Physiology? Applications are invited for the Permanent position of Senior Grade Respiratory Physiologist in St. Vincents Private Hospital. You will join a dynamic NEW team of Respiratory Physiologists, Physiologists Assistants, Respiratory Admin teams & 17 Respiratory Consultants working in pulmonary physiology. You will perform a range of senior pulmonary physiology tests including PFTs which includes FRC pleth, Airway Challenge testing and CPET. You will be inspired to improve patient outcome as part of a team providing validated healthcare (JCI accredited). Rotation in Sleep Physiology every three months is an option at SVPH. Essential Criteria Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: (i) Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) or Dublin Institute of Technology (D.I.T) or Ulster University or (ii) Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS) / in the process of registration. Or if qualified in or prior to 2005; (iii) Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from DIT Or, (iv)An equivalent scientific level 8 qualification as confirmed by the IICMS You must: Have good communication skills as the post involves a great deal of contact with patients and with other colleagues. Desirable Criteria It is desirable for you to: Have experience in Pulmonary Physiology. Senior grades will require to have three years post qualification experience. Have ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. IICMP: have registration / in the process of registration for 2025. Clinical experience in Mannitol airway testing and CPET testing.
