Community Development Specialists
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team and assist with the delivery of community development, family and individual supports in Co. Clare.
The role involves working on a range of projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for local communities. As a Community Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing community needs, developing partnerships with local stakeholders, and delivering targeted interventions to support individuals and families.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals. You should also have a strong understanding of community development principles and practices, as well as experience in project management and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct needs assessments and develop community profiles to inform program planning and delivery;
* Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and government agencies;
* Design and deliver training programs and workshops to build capacity and promote social inclusion;
* Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, using data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery;
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies to address community issues and achieve program goals.
Benefits:
