About Your New Job
As the
Quality Controller
, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards across all operations. You'll ensure compliance with HACCP procedures and quality systems while supporting day-to-day production and audit requirements.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Conducting product, process, packaging, and hygiene checks
* Completing and reviewing quality documentation and label checks
* Managing non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are taken
* Assisting during BRC, customer, and regulatory audits
* Performing metal detection checks and maintaining documentation control
* Supporting continuous improvement and upholding internal and external standards
What Skills You Need to Become Quality Controller
* Diploma or Degree in a related discipline (Food Science, Quality, etc.)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
* Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (SAP experience is an advantage)
* A proactive, self-motivated approach and strong teamwork skills
* Previous quality experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential
