The Lab Solutions team within Digital Quality is responsible for delivering, enhancing & maintaining core solutions to support the Quality Control & GTEL Laboratories and product release within Pfizer Global Supply worldwide.
The Manager, Technical Lead will be a part of the EM & Lab Execution Solutions team that maintain and enhance the EM Mobile Data Acquisition (MODA), Network Reference Material & Critical Reagent (RMCR) & Smart Document System (SDS) solutions. This role will be responsible to act as the technical lead to maintain the health of the Smart Document System (SDS). This includes creating required technical deliverables like disaster recovery plans and technical architecture specifications, supporting the delivery of new infrastructure & integrations for solution expansion, troubleshooting issues as they arise, delivery of new functionality to adapt to site requirements and ensuring that the technology aligns with business objectives.

T he successful candidate will build on a sound basis of IT knowledge and practical experience paired with awareness of the requirements for working in a regulated environment and the willingness to become an expert in the Smart Document System technical and business processes.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager, Technical Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Continuously improve the technical processes that the team uses to deploy and maintain their solutions
Working as part of a scrum team & demonstrate agile ways of working.
Work with the product owner, to maintain a product backlog for the solution to effectively manage the technical work required to enhance & maintain the solution.
Collaborate and set expectations with business, scrum master and development team on technical feasibility.
Collaborate with the QC Solutions Integration & Engineer Team to assess technology capabilities and architecture requirements.
Ensure work tasks are completed on schedule to a high quality standard & within configuration guidelines.
Ensure solutions are maintained in a compliant state in accordance with Pfizer policy and GMP regulations.
Provide L4 technical support for solution.
Assist product team in troubleshooting the technical problems and orchestrate the teams to resolve the production problems or business critical projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s BS in Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of technical / project experience supporting a Lab environment.
Design and build the sustainable problem-solving solutions and support and maintain the products that meets the business needs and goals.
Good written and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Databases (Oracle) table structures / table relationships with ability to query the data tables and understanding of cloud computing services (AWS).
Experience in all stages of system and application lifecycle from value analysis, business case development, solution deployment through value realization.
Experience of modern software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, documentation and releasing.
Good experience in MS Office Products (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to manage many parallel objectives and changing priorities. Working with various stakeholders from multiple groups.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Agile (SAFe preferred).
An understanding of the Quality Control laboratory business area.
An understanding of system GMP requirements and demonstrable knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in GMP environments.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Job will require working with global teams and applications.
Flexible working schedule will be needed on occasion to accommodate planned agile sprint planning and system releases as well as unplanned/on-call support.
Potential travel required for critical project work up to 20% of time.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Director, EM & Lab Solutions Lead
Work in collaboration with other Digital & Technology groups within and outside Digital Manufacturing on definition, design, technical build, deployment, embed & optimization of the solutions.
