As a Social Care Worker you will offer companionship, support with daily living tasks, and assistance with community integration activities. This role is ideal for a patient, understanding, and proactive individual with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of those they support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a safe and supportive environment for the client.
* Offering companionship, supporting daily living tasks, and assisting with transportation as needed
* Support the client's community engagement and social integration activities.
* Work closely with the client to promote their independence and assist them in achieving their personal goals.
* Provide companionship and emotional support, building a trusting relationship with the client.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Social Care Worker, especially with mental health support, intellectual disability and complex needs.
* A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve greater independence.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work nights and provide weekend cover.
* A full driving license.
