The Role
We support people with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and autism, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will be at the heart of this mission, providing essential support and making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing Person-Centered Support
* Supporting people to be safe and healthy
* Supporting independence, social and communication skills
* Supporting people to develop and maintain key skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Criteria:
* A minimum of 6 months experience providing paid or voluntary care or support for someone
* A full, valid driving license or an ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience of supporting someone with autism
* A recognised Level 5 award relevant to the role
* A relevant third-level qualification at degree level (e.g. social work, psychology, and/or allied health)
* A post-graduate qualification relevant to the role
* Proficiency in using standard office IT applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
