GP Practice Manager Location: Nationwide Opportunities (Urban & Regional GP Practices) Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time We are supporting the recruitment of Practice Managers for established GP practices across Ireland. The Practice Manager plays a key role in the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice, supporting both clinical staff and administrative processes to ensure high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the practice Manage staff rotas, reception operations and workflow coordination Support and maintain patient appointment systems, triage processes and clinic schedules Ensure governance, compliance and record-keeping standards are maintained to current guidelines Coordinate financial administration including invoicing, claims processing and payroll support Liaise with GPs, nurses, allied health colleagues and external service providers Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives and practice development projects Contribute to a positive, professional and patient-centred environment Requirements Previous experience in a GP practice, primary care, community health setting or healthcare administration role Strong organisational and leadership skills Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain efficient workflows Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Competence in practice software systems (Socrates, HealthOne, or similar) is beneficial Desirable Experience with financial administration or payroll Previous responsibility for managing staff or team supervision Familiarity with clinical governance, health records, GDPR and confidentiality standards Remuneration Excellent salary package disclosed upon application, reflective of experience and practice size.
