Bus Éireann is seeking to appoint a Garda Vetting Officer and Deputy Child Safeguarding Officer to support the effective administration of the company's Garda Vetting Scheme and Child Safeguarding processes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company procedures and best practice standards while also providing administrative support to the Chief Schools Officer and departmental colleagues.
This role requires a highly organised and confidential approach with strong communication, administration and stakeholder management skills.
The position involves close liaison with internal departments, external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure the efficient operation of vetting, safeguarding and school transport related activities.
This is a hybrid position based in Bus Éireann's head office in Broadstone, Dublin 7.
The role will commence with in-office attendance for training initially, after which it will transition to a hybrid working arrangement.
