BASIC SALARY: Circa €50,000

LOCATION: Covering Ireland & Northern Ireland you will be home based and ideally living in Central Ireland but the company will consider applications from anyone living in Ireland or Northern Ireland

JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer – Packaging and Processing Machinery, Food
This is a classic field Service Engineer role working as part of a team involving repair, refurbishment, install and commissioning of a range of food processing machinery used in the food industry.
Overtime paid door to door but only staying way from home for 3 nights a month on average with very occasional weekend breakdown cover required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer – Packaging and Processing Machinery, Food
· You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer with specific experience of working with packaging or processing machinery supplied to the food industry.
· The company will also consider an experienced food factory maintenance engineer wanting to move into a field service role.
· You will be a qualified Multi Skilled Engineer comfortable `on the tools` and able to read an electrical drawing and use a meter.

You will be working for a well established and market leading UK sales & service office for a major European manufacturer of food processing machinery supplied to the food industry.
