Job Summary: The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role plays a critical part in promoting a safe and sustainable workplace by leading initiatives that reduce risk, prevent injuries, and ensure environmental stewardship. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; develop corrective and preventive measures. Lead safety training sessions and maintain training records. Coordinate emergency response planning and drills. Manage reporting and documentation for environmental permits, safety metrics, and incident records. Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS matters with regulatory agencies. Partner with operations, HR, and facilities teams to integrate EHS priorities into daily activities. Monitor and report on key EHS performance indicators (KPIs). Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and culture. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar certification preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and training skills. Experience with safety management systems and EHS software is a plus.
