Contract Type: PermanentLocation: St. Stephens GreenWorking style: Hybrid 50% home/office basedClosing date: 16th February 2026Here at Royal London Ireland, we are seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager with Irish Life/Pensions/Protection experience, required to deliver change projects or small portfolios which support achievement of the Group strategy, effectively and efficiently. To ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.Overall responsibility for planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects covering both Business, Regulatory and Technical driven change.The team's primary function is to provide overall responsibility for planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects covering both Business and Technical driven change.Key ResponsibilitiesExperience of leading project teams with minimal support and supervision.Have Irish Life/Pensions/Protection experience as a core attribute or a minimum of PM experience in banking regulatory areaHighly competent in using planning tools and experienced in implementing and operating financial control frameworksProven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business and technical needsProven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business or technical objectiveInterpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environmentDemonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying prioritiesDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholdersDefine success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project lifecycleIdentify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project stakeholders and sponsorsProactively identify, assess and manage project risks to ensure timely mitigation and successful deliveryEnsure all change is delivered in accordance with Royal London Ireland's change delivery framework and governance standards.Effectively manage third‑party suppliers to ensure delivery of agreed outcomes, quality and performance.Criteria Irish Life/Pensions/Protection experience as a core attribute or a minimum of PM experience in banking regulatory areaPRINCE2 or APM qualificationsto be able to set context of project drivers.Excellent planning, co-ordination and organisation skillsStrong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organisationsProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellenceBuild and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsResearch best practices within and outside the organisation to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve resultsCoach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team(s) supported with strong influencing skillsAbout Royal London IrelandBased in St Stephen's Green in Dublin, Royal London Ireland is a fully owned subsidiary of the Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited, the largest mutual life, pensions, and investment company in the UK.
