Senior Fundraising Officer
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of fundraising initiatives to engage and inspire individual donors. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of people affected by a rare, painful, and incurable skin condition.
* Deliver donor-centric direct marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, face-to-face, and telemarketing).
* Play a key role in donor recruitment, retention, and upgrade programmes.
* Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Individual Giving programme, working closely with internal teams.
This is a highly impactful role where your work will directly contribute to expanding our supporter base and increasing unrestricted income, enabling us to campaign for change, fund groundbreaking research, and deliver vital services to those affected.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Plan, implement, and evaluate Individual Giving campaigns, including cash appeals and regular giving.
2. Manage relationships with suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
3. Lead on the Tax Back Campaign, including data management, creative, and analysis.
4. Develop engaging donor journeys to boost retention, reactivation, and upgrades.
5. Monitor performance, apply campaign insights, and continuously improve fundraising approaches.
6. Deliver high-quality donor stewardship and an excellent supporter experience.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on fundraiser who can bring experience, creativity, and energy to this role. The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Individual Giving fundraising, direct marketing, or a related role.
* Experience in direct mail, digital fundraising, and acquisition campaigns.
* Strong project management and supplier management skills.
* A data-driven approach with experience in database management (knowledge of RE NXT is an advantage).
* Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in the not-for-profit sector.
