About this role:
* Responsible for coordinating, assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing patient care according to established standards.
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols, policies, and best practices in surgical care, maintaining the highest standards.
* Coordinate new staff orientation and provide guidance to student nurses, promoting a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
* 3 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably within the specialty or related area.
* Demonstrated clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the role effectively.
* Possess relevant educational qualifications, such as a postgraduate course or management certification (desired).
* Experience with electronic health records and preceptorship is highly desirable.
