We are looking for Relief Events Manager to cover some exiting events in Cork.
The Event Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing live event operations, managing staff on the floor, and ensuring events run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
This role is hands-on and focused on real-time decision-making during busy events, acting as the main point of control for staff coordination and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage staff during live events, including briefings and debriefs Allocate staff positions and manage rotations and breaks Monitor crowd flow, queues, and capacity levels Ensure high standards of customer service across all event areas Act as the first point of escalation for staff issues, guest concerns, or incidents Liaise with security, bar, technical, and venue teams during events Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements Respond quickly to operational issues and emergencies Maintain a visible presence on the floor throughout events Required Skills & Experience Experience supervising staff in fast-paced environments (events, hospitality, nightlife, or venues) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure Confident managing large teams and busy crowds Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
