Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to recruit a Part-time Service Delivery Administrator. This position offers 18 hours per week and is based in Cookstown. The duration of this role is for up to 6 months with the possibility of extension.Location: Cookstown, NIFRS Learning & Development CollegePay rate: £13.97 per hourHours: 18 hours per weekContract: 6-month contract with the possibility of extensionAs a Service Delivery Administrator, you will be key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. Working closely with both internal teams and external partners, you will support effective coordination, communication, and administrative processes across the Area Command.Main Duties:Manage diaries, meetings, and events, ensuring effective scheduling and organisationAct as a central point of contact for internal and external communications, responding to queries efficientlyMaintain accurate records, filing systems, and databasesPrepare high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence within required deadlinesCoordinate training schedules to support operational deliveryAssist with performance reporting, assurance processes, and monitoring of key indicatorsKeep up to date records on internal databasesManage petty cash and support financial processes in line with governance requirementsAssist with procurement activities, including ordering, stock control, and budget trackingProcess expense claims and ensure compliance with financial proceduresProvide confidential HR administrative supportProcess community safety requests and maintain accurate associated recordsEssential CriteriaYou must meet one of the following:Level 3 qualification (e.g. Business Administration, IT) + 1 year relevant experienceOR 5 GCSEs (including English & Maths) + 3 years relevant experienceOR 5 years' experience in a busy administrative roleDesirableExperience in a large, multi-site organisationPublic sector or local government experienceFull UK/EU driving licence (or access to transport)Additional InformationIf you would like to apply or find out more about this role, please contact Geraldine Stevenson at Honeycomb using the details provided.If you have a disability and require support at any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know so appropriate arrangements can be made.Please note successful applicants may be required to complete a Basic or Enhanced Access NI check (cost approximately £18+, depending on role requirements).
