Our preschool and after-school service is located in Ballyfermot, Dublin 10. We offer a sessional pre-school service each morning, Monday to Friday for children aged from 2 years 8 months to school going age.
We also provide an after-school service each afternoon for children from Junior Infants to 6th class who attend St Michaels National School.
The Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in providing effective management support to the Childcare Manager. This includes combining the practitioner role with the deputy management role when required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting the staff team in relation to curriculum planning, observations and positive interactions with and outcomes for children.
They must have a thorough knowledge of the early years sector and be able to ensure that high quality and best practice standards are maintained at the service.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to motivate others.
The Deputy Manager will work closely with the Childcare Manager and the Board of Management as part of our preschool team.
