About the roleLead the proactive development of integrated solutions that drive sustainable growth and profitability for Kerry's bakery business in the Europe.Manage the technical development activities for relevant Bakery customer ensuring that all products developed are appropriate to the specific application.Serve as the contact point for customer needs related to products and processes optimization, providing specialized knowledge on Kerry technologies to enhance customer offerings.Collaborate closely with the Commercial team to support key business initiatives, translating Kerry's technological capabilities into tangible sales growth for priority bakery accounts.Actively engage in the development of pro-active NPD presentations - Prototype and supporting documents.
Key responsibilitiesProduct DevelopmentApply Kerry technologies, such as enzymes, emulsifiers, flavour and other ingredients in above mentioned Baked goodsUse of Bakery processing machinery like Mixer & Oven and other analytical instrument – Moisture, pH meter, specific gravity, texture analyser etc.Upscaling of laboratory experiments to assist in industrial production in customer's premises.Collaboration Build strong relationships with all Internal & External stakeholders ensuring smooth project management.Documentation Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, standards, and project timelines, any competitive analysis & shelf life studies. nsure all results are captured. Recorded and filed to ensure availability for future projectsCustomer engagement Develop strong relationships with Bakery customers their marketplace and dynamics involved. Provide them with technical knowledge, experience and support when required.
Qualifications and skillsEducation Bachelor's/Masters degree in Baking Science & Technology or Bakery & Patisserie Technology or Food Science or a related field,Experience 8-10 years of experience in food product development, preferably in the bakery industry. Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.SkillsUnderstanding of new product development process including scale up to marketBakery Application Experience Technical knowledge & operational experience across various bakery products – Bread, Biscuits, Muffins, Cakes, etc., requiredGood knowledge on Bakery Ingredients & its applicationEffective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.Work well in an ambiguous setting; self-motivated; proactiveGood presentation and project management skillsAbility to work under pressure to ensure deadlines metAbility to perform consistently in a fast-paced environment by trouble shooting and problem solvingDesire and willingness for continuous learningBeware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
