The successful candidate will be responsible for applying technology to architecture, building design, and construction.
* To work as an integral part of the team applying technology to architecture, building design, and construction.
* Capable to lead BIM/Revit projects through the detail design stages.
* Working as part of a team ensuring that the design is compliant with the brief, building regulations & planning constraints.
* Assist in the investigation of technical information and factors that affect developments including user needs, site and building surveys, and regulatory requirements when requested to do so.
* Participate, when required, in site visits and attending site meetings.
* Co-ordinating layouts and equipment and preparing tender & construction documentation for large scale projects.
* Detailing and specification of projects with steel and precast concrete structures, complex cladding, modular cleanrooms, GMP environments and highly serviced buildings.
Qualifications:
* Degree qualified (Level 8)
* 10+ years' experience within industry.
* Possess strong and proven expertise gained as an Architectural Technologist across a variety of projects, preferably within Life Sciences.
* Possess exceptional technical and construction detailing ability.
* Proficiency using and designing in Autodesk Revit is required.
* Self-motivated, organized and reliable along with a professional approach and demeanour.
* Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills with the ability to work in and lead multi-discipline teams.
* Detailed knowledge of the Irish & UK building regulations.
