Job Description
Within our Hybrid Cloud Chief Technologist organization, the Content Engineering team provides world class content to customers and partners. This enables them to easily understand the capabilities of our portfolio of solutions for integrating private, public, and edge cloud environments, primarily delivered through HPE GreenLake platform, offering a unified, managed experience for running workloads anywhere, providing public cloud-like agility on-premises and in hybrid setups. Our objective is to enhance the customer experience through innovative content, allowing them to successfully deploy, use, and independently resolve product issues.
We develop and publishing feature content in various media formats, deliver release notes, collaborate with engineering, product management, support, UX, and various other organizations.
As a Content Engineering Manager you will manage and lead the team of Technical Writers and define, develop and publish content by closely collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, Support and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring documentation deliverables are completed on-time and with quality. You will contribute toward the overall strategy for Content Engineering organization, including the adoption of AI tooling to accelerate content creation.
Education And Experience Required
* Typically a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
* Masters degree preferred.
* Minimum of 8+ years related experience and project or team management experience.
* Experience directing and controlling the activities of a technical documentation function.
Knowledge And Skills
* Knowledge expert for multiple products within a technology.
* Creates information strategy for a technology.
* Familiar with any of the following - DITA, HTML, DHTML, XML JavaScript or similar as required. May provide help systems that are integrated with software products that use proprietary coding methods.
* Expert knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, and comfortable using Jira to track work.
* (Desirable) Experience in technologies such as virtualization, VMware, Cloud Management Platforms etc.
