Job Title: Branch Manager
The Branch Manager will report directly to the Regional Director and be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Cork branch, driving business growth in the Munster region, and ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of daily branch operations, ensuring targets and objectives are clearly defined and met.
* Management, motivation, and development of the branch team.
* Maintenance and growth of the existing customer portfolio while seeking new business opportunities.
* Allocation and management of staff resources to meet changing business needs.
* IDentification and pursuit of opportunities for business development and increased market share.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
* Monitoring and management of branch performance, including sales, profitability, and stockholding.
* Maintenance of high standards of customer satisfaction and operational productivity.
* Adaptation to evolving business needs and taking on additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in managing teams, with strong leadership qualities.
* Proven sales experience, preferably in the building materials sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a creative approach to challenges.
* Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
